Businesses typically use outside consultants for four primary purposes. The first is to bring in a particular technical expertise to address a problem or opportunity. The second is to reach a decision or conduct a project that might otherwise not be accomplished timely because of the higher priorities assigned to day-to-day tasks. The third is to complete a project that the company simply doesn’t have the right personnel resources to complete themselves. The fourth is to avoid (or work around) political conflict that might otherwise keep management from completing a task or achieving a goal.

Many of our clients do not have high-level financial executives or extensive corporate infrastructure. Accordingly, they may seek our help for any of the four purposes described above. Services that we may provide can take the form of an extensive programmed project, research and study of possible answers to particular questions that arise, or simply a meeting with management to hear their questions and offer possible solutions. In any case, we are able to offer this service because our staff is older and more experienced than may be the case with other firms.

Average tenure with our firm is approximately 10 years, average business experience is approximately 20 years. We train on broad business issues as well as technical tax and accounting topics. Many of our personnel have experience in private industry, as well as public accounting. And our partners own and operate a small business, just as many of our clients do.
